Next Thursday, 'Quan els colors somien cançons' storytelling at Sant Ferran Reading Spot

The Office of Culture of the Consell de Formentera is pleased to report that Almudena Rubio will perform "Quan els colors somien cançons", the third in a series of story times organised jointly with La Panera Vermella, in Sant Ferran's Reading Spot (Punt de Lectura), Thursday 20 April at 5.00pm.

"Quan els colors somien cançons" is for children up to six years old. Colours go to sleep when night falls and everything goes dark. But who wakes them up? They say it is Lluna, with the music of her songs. How about lending a hand?

"Quan els colors somien cançons" is musical and interactive entertainment in which colours, sounds and songs awaken little ones' curiosity while connecting them with their emotional universe. Conceived as a first approach to music and emotions, the show employs instruments and captivating melodies to transport children to a magical and fascinating world.

The third instalment in the story time series is directed by Monma Mingot and stars Almudena Rubio (Madrid, 1984), a musician, actress and specialist in early-childhood education with a degree in music teaching. Rubio is a multidisciplinary artist focused on music and movement, studies classical dance and Afro-Latin styles and has furthered her studies in circus acrobatics, mime and clowning. She also studies acting and musical interpretation with Los del Sotano theatre school and company, where she has worked as an actress in plays for seven years.
